Direct flight between Taipei - Jeju increase to 10 times per week

More Taiwanese tourists are visiting Jeju.

According to the Jeju Tourism Organization, 53,000 (53 thousand) Taiwanese visited Jeju in July. This is an 120 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

Officials analyzed that increase in the number of direct flights connecting Taipei and Jeju to 10 flights per week enhanced accessibility to Jeju from Taiwan.

JTO said that it had hosted a familiarization tour for Taiwanese media channels and power bloggers to promote Jeju’s autumn attractions.

대만 관광객 증가세 뚜렷

제주를 방문하는 대만 관광객 수가

제주를 방문한 대만관광객수는 5만 3천여 명으로
지난해 같은 기간에 비해 120% 증가했습니다.

타이베이와 제주를 잇는 직항 노선이
주 10회 운항하는 등 접근성이 향상되면서
관광객이 늘어난 것으로 분석됩니다.

제주관광공사는
더 많은 관광객들이 제주를 방문할 수 있도록
대만 주요 매체와 파워블로거를 대상으로
제주 가을 콘텐츠를 홍보하는 팸투어를 진행했다고 밝혔습니다.
