1. Province to compensate fallow farmlands
Damaged farms to get low interest loans

The province is pushing for special support measures for farms affected by Typhoon Lingling and Typhoon Tapah.

The provincial government will compensate fallow farmlands to prevent over cultivation of winter-grown radishes.

The compensation per hectare for carrots will be 3.6 million won, 4.8 million won for potatoes and 3.7 million won for cabbages.

The government also plans to provide loans with a low interest rate of 0.9 percent per annum to farmers who suffered from flood damage.

Damage reports will be accepted at community centers through October 2nd. The province will offer related subsidies from October 11th.

태풍 피해농가에 '휴경보상비' 특별 지원

제주도는
월동무 재배 쏠림을 막기 위해
피해 농가에 휴경 보상비를
지원합니다.

작물별 보상비는
당근은 1헥타르당 360만 원,
감자 480만 원, 양배추 370만 원입니다.

또 침수 피해 농가에는
연리 0.9%의 저금리 경영자금을
융자 지원할 계획입니다.

제주도는 다음달 2일까지
읍면동을 통해 피해 신고를 접수한 뒤
11일부터 관련 자금을 지급할 방침입니다.
