Laborers to harvest mandarin oranges, vegetables

Jeju City will deploy 53 foreign seasonal workers to help fill a labor shortage of local farms.

The workers are from Vietnam and China married into Korean families and living in Jeju City.

The laborers will be assigned to local farms by the end of this year and work up to 90 day to harvest mandarin oranges and farm winter vegetables.
