4. Taxi drivers surrendering licenses to be compensated
Province aims to reduce 15 local taxis

The provincial government will compensate 15 taxi drivers for surrendering their taxi licenses.

The province is aiming to reduce 11 owner-driven and 4 corporate-owned taxis. The local government will compensate 100 million and 35 million won each for owner-driven and corporate-owned taxis, respectively.

Applications will be accepted from October 14th through December 16th at the provincial government office.

The province had compensated 24 taxi drivers in 2017 and 23 drivers in 2018 for surrendering their licenses.

택시 15대 감차보상…개인택시 1억 원

제주도가 올해 택시 15대를 감차 보상하기로 하고
신청을 받습니다.

감차 대상은 개인택시 11대와 일반택시 4대로
보상단가는 개인택시는 대당 1억원,
일반택시는 대당 3천 5백만 원입니다.

감차 신청은
다음 달 14일부터 12월 16일까지
제주도 교통정책과에 방문해 접수하면 됩니다.
