5. Province holds briefing sessions with landowners of urban parks
Organizers give explanation of ordinance on urban parks

The province has held briefing sessions with land owners of two urban parks to inform them of the special ordinance on urban parks.

The special ordinance lets landowners to develop 30% of their lands for profit and reserve the rest to be used as an urban park. The province is pushing for this ordinance on two local urban parks: Jungbu Park and Odeungbong Park.

The briefing session was held at the Ora-dong community center for landowners of the Odeungbong Park on Tuesday, the other session will be held at Geonip-dong community center for Jungbu Park landowners on the 10th.

Local officials will also accept suggestions from the landowners.

오등봉공원 주민설명회를 개최하고
10일에는 건입동 주민센터에서
중부공원 주민설명회를 진행합니다.

이번 설명회에서는
민간개발 특례 제도 설명과 함께
건의사항도 접수할 예정입니다.

도시공원 민간개발특례는
민간 자본을 유치해 30%는 개발을 허용하고
70%는 공원부지로 조성하는 사업으로
제주도는 중부공원과 오등봉공원 두 곳을 대상으로
추진하고 있습니다.
