Organizers change schedule due to typhoon

Various events scheduled for this week are also being postponed or canceled due to the Typhoon Mitag from Wednesday.

The Jeju Municipal Office postponed the event celebrating the 23rd Senior Citizens Day event to October 8th and changed the venue from Halla gymnasium to Jeju Aehyang Stadium.

A forum on gender equality, which was scheduled to be held on Wednesday, has been postponed to the 16th. The 4th Jeju Food Expo decided cancel its event on the 7th and only host events on the 5th and 6th.

The gathering for honored islanders was postponed from October 2nd to the end of this year. Jeju Chorus’s performance has also been postponed to October 23rd.

제주가 2일부터
태풍 미탁의 영향권에 들 것으로 예상됨에 따라
이번주 예정된 각종 행사들도
연기되거나 취소되고 있습니다.

제주시는
한라체육관에서 개최할 예정이던
제23회 노인의날 행사를
오는 8일로 연기해 애향운동장에서 열기로 했습니다.

또 2일 열 예정이던 제2차 성평등 포럼은 16일로 연기했고,
제4회 음식박람회는 일정을 하루 단축해
5일과 6일 이틀만 열기로 했습니다.

이 밖에
2일 예정된 명예도민 우정의날 행사는 올해 말로,
제주도립합창단 공연도 23일로 각각 연기했습니다.
