3. Certificate for 4·3 incident victims shows great popularity
Province receives nearly 10,000 applications from April

The province issued certificate for victims and bereaved families of the April 3rd Incident is gaining popularity.

The province has received about 10,000 applications for five months since it began accepting applications in April. So far, the certificates have been issued to more than 9,100 people.

Those with the certificate can get up to 50 percent off on domestic flights operated by Jeju Air. They can also receive discounts on medical and parking fees and enter local tourist attractions for free.

The province is planning to expand benefits by consulting with airlines and local movie theaters.

4.3희생자 유족증 발급이 호응을 얻고 있습니다.

제주특별자치도는
지난 4월부터 접수를 시작한 이후
5개월여 만에 신청 건수가 1만 건에 육박하고
현재까지 9천 1백여 명에게 발급했다고 밝혔습니다.

희생자 유족증이 있으면
국내선 항공료를 최대 50% 할인 받고
병원 의료비 감면과 도 직영 관광지 관람료도 면제됩니다.

제주도는
이용객 증가로
앞으로 항공사와 영화관 등과 협의해 혜택을 확대해나갈 계획입니다.
