3. Jeju City to expand implementation of ‘smart farm systems’
11 local livestock farms to set up IoT technology

Jeju City is working to expand the ‘smart farm systems’ among local livestock farms.

‘Smart Farm’ enables farmers to remotely control their facilities through their smartphones by using the Internet of Things technology.

The Jeju Municipal Office decided to select 4 additional farms and implement the system to a total of 11 local livestock farms.

The office plans to also double the project’s budget to 3 billion won next year.

Experts will build a smart farming system for participating farms after consulting with the farmers.

스마트팜 구축 사업을 추진하고 있는데
4개 농가를 추가로 선정하기로 했습니다.

특히 내년에는
올해보다 갑절 가까이 늘어난 30억원을
투입할 계획입니다.

전문가의 사전컨설팅 결과를 토대로
적합한 스마트 기술을 구축합니다.
