More than 1,000 cases of voice phishing have been reported in Jeju over the past three years.

According to the Jeju Provincial Police Agency, islanders had received a total of 1,295 voice phishing calls from January 2017 to this September, with 15 billion won in damages.

There were more than 1,100 loan fraud cases, accounting for more than 88 percent of the total cases.

제주지방경찰청에 따르면
지난 2017년 1월부터 올해 9월까지
제주지역에서 발생한
보이스피싱 사기 피해 건수는
모두 1천 295건으로
이로인한 피해 금액은
150억원에 달하는 것으로 파악됐습니다.

피해 유형은
대출사기형이 1천100여 건으로
전체 피해의 88% 이상을 차지했습니다.
