3. Province enacts tougher measures against ASF
Special quarantine team expanded to 13 members

The province is enacting tougher measures to prevent local outbreaks of African swine fever.

Local government will increase special squad numbers directing the island’s prevention efforts from 9 to 13.

It will also inspect local pig farms, slaughterhouses, disinfection posts and livestock housings to check their compliance with disinfection procedures.
