5. 100th National Sports Festival comes to an end
Jeju wins 84 medals

The 100th National Sports Festival came to a close on October 10th.
Athletes from Jeju surpassed their medal goals.

Jeju won a silver medal in the women's 400-meter individual medley in swimming and the men’s football team won their first gold medal in history on Thursday.

The Jeju team exceeded its medal goal of 65 by harvesting 84 medals, including 30 golds, 17 silvers and 37 bronzes.

100회 전국체전 폐막…제주 84개 메달 획득

올해 백회를 맞은 전국제전이 일주일간의 열전을 마치고
10일 폐막한 가운데
제주선수단은 목표 메달을 초과 달성했습니다.

제주선수단은 대회 마지막인
목요일 수영 여자 일반부 개인혼영 400미터에서 은메달을,
축구 남자대학부 단체전에서 사상 첫 금메달을
획득했습니다.

이로써 제주선수단은 금메달 30개, 은메달 17개, 동메달 37개 등
이번 대회에서 모두 84개의 메달을 수확하며
65개의 메달 목표를 초과 달성했습니다.
