New fines raised by 40,000 won

Illegal parking fines around fire stations will be raised significantly.

The provincial government has decided to ban parking in more than 1,400 areas to prevent illegal parking.

Fines will be increased from 50,000 won to 90,000 won for passenger vans, and passenger cars will be increased to 80,000 won from 40,000 won. The new prices will take effect when road signs are completed at the end of November

Red road markings are applied within 5 meters of fire stations to allow for the easy movement of fire trucks.

2. 소방시설 불법 주·정차 과태료 대폭 상향

소방시설 주변 불법 주정차 과태료가 크게 오릅니다.

제주도는
소방시설 주변 불법 주정차 예방을 위해
1천400여 군데에 주정차를 금지하는 노면표시를 하기로 했습니다.

다음달 말 노면표시가 마무리되면
적발된 차량에 과태료가 부과되는데
승합차는 5만원에서 9만원,
승용차는 4만원에서 8만원으로 오릅니다.

소방시설 적색노면표시는
원할한 소방차 진입을 위해 소방시설 5m 이내에 설치됩니다.
