Arrival time is more than a minute off of national average

In a nation-wide review, the Jeju police department are reported to be one of the slowest to arrive at the scene after receiving emergency calls.

According to a report submitted by the National Police Agency to Rep. So Byung-hoon of the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee, the time it took for Jeju police to arrive at the scene after receiving 112 emergency calls in the first half of this year was 6 minutes and 33 seconds, the second slowest in the country.

This is more than a minute off the national average.

The average time to arrive at the scene for a non-emergency call was reported at 7 minutes and 36 seconds, the slowest time in the country.

전국 2번 째로 느린 것으로 밝혀졌습니다.

이는 전국 평균과도 1분 이상 벌어집니다.

또 제주 경찰은
비긴급 신고일 경우에도
현장 도착 평균 시간이 7분 36초를 보이며
전국에서 가장 느린 것으로 확인됐습니다.
