Young start-up owners and IP experts meet and share information at the Intellectual Property Festival in Jeju.

On October 11th, an intellectual property-themed festival was held to help job seekers and young start-up owners.
The island’s young start-up owners and IP experts met and reached consensus on the need to create jobs that require innovative knowledge.

Money spent to protect one’s innovative idea is not a cost, it’s an investment. Start-up owners should recognize that IP is more important than hires or contract for factory sites.

Along with events on IP, employment consultation booths were built and were popular among job seekers.
Young interviewees could get information on certain job positions and benefits programs from interviewers.

64 companies including the nation’s leading enterprises had their consultation booths to meet job seekers. They reviewed job applicants’ resumes and applicants took a career aptitude test.
Based on the resume and test results, they provided advice to the applicants.
Intellectual property is intangible, but for sure it’s an asset to businesses.
