Cheongju district releases case of murdered stepson

The murder case of Koh Yu-jeong's ex-husband and stepchild is expected to be tried in Jeju Province.

The Jeju District Public Prosecutor's Office has released a statement stating that the Cheongju District Prosecutors' Office transferred the murder case of Koh Yu-jeong’s stepson to the Jeju district on the 16th.

Plans to designate a prosecutor in charge of the transferred case is underway to review the investigation records before confirming a decision on the possibility of indictment.

The Cheongju Police Station, which investigated the death of Koh’s stepchild, filed a murder charge against Koh on June 30th and sent the files to the Cheongju District Prosecutors' Office.
