2. Province to crack down on biased media before elections
List of prohibited content released, includes advertisements, photos

The provincial government will be restricting activities that could taint the National Assembly elections that will be held in April 2020. Certain actions that are deemed inappropriate will be banned or restricted starting October 18th, which is 180 days before the 21st National Assembly elections.

Prohibited content includes the installation or posting of advertisements, such as signs and banners, that may affect the election, and support or objections of a single political party or candidate in the form of advertisements, photos and other printed materials.

The Jeju National Election Commission will formally announce the initiative to the political parties, candidates and related organizations, and initiate the crackdown against biased media on October 18th.

정당 또는 후보자의 지지나 추천,
또는 반대하는 내용이 포함된
광고나 사진, 인쇄물, 벽보 게시 등입니다.

제주도선거관리위원회는
각 정당과 입후보예정자, 관련 기관단체에
이같은 내용을 알리는 한편
모레부터 단속을 실시한다는 계획입니다.
