3. The CJ Cup underway at Nine Bridges
$9.75million in prize money to be won

The only PGA Tour event to be held in Korea, the CJ Cup kicked off on Thursday at the Nine Bridges in Seogwipo, and will end the following Sunday.

Seventy-nine of the world’s top golfers, including last year’s winner and the world’s number one ranking golfer, Brooks Koepka, are competing for 9.75 million US dollars in prize money.

Fifteen Korean golfers are participating in the event, including Kang Sung-hoon, and Jeju native Seong-jae Im who won the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year in 2019.
