4. Jeju City to check safety of small apartments
Unsafe structures to be put under intensive management

The Jeju Municipal Office will conduct safety inspections on small apartments that were built more than 15 years ago.

Jeju City will conduct safety diagnosis on a total of 710 apartments, including apartments with less than 150 households and multi-family residential homes. The inspection will be finished on December 23rd.

Officials will check for cracks in the building, retaining walls, stonework, and safety of incidental facilities.

Jeju City plans to repair structures with grade C or lower and put them under intensive management.

제주시는 오는 12월 23일까지
15년이 경과된 150세대 미만의 아파트와 연립주택 등
공동주택 710개소를 대상으로
안전진단을 실시한다고 밝혔습니다.

주요 점검 사항은
건축물의 균열 여부와 옹벽과 석축, 부대시설의 안전성 여부 등입니다.

제주시는 안전진단 결과 C등급 이하로 판정될 경우
보수.보강을 유도하고
집중관리 건축물로 지정해 관리해 나갈 계획입니다.
