5. Beachgoers show more satisfaction with local beaches
Officials plan to address need for repairs to facilities

Beachgoers are showing a higher satisfaction level with local beaches than last year.

The provincial government surveyed 1,200 beachgoers this August and an average satisfaction score was 3.83 on a scale of five, which is 0.18 points higher than that of last year.

The local beaches scored 4.35 points on accessibility, showing a 0.5 point increase compared to last year. Marks for water quality were 0.25 points higher than last year at 3.97 point.

However, the satisfaction level for changing rooms and shower facilities were lower than last year, highlighting a need for repairs.

제주도내 해수욕장 이용 만족도가 다소 높아진 것으로 나타났습니다.

올 여름 해수욕장 이용객 1천 200명을 대상으로 만족도를 조사한 결과
5점 만점에 평균 3.83점으로
전년도에 비해 0.18점 높아졌습니다.

접근성은 0.5점 향상된 4.35점 수질은 0.25점 증가한 3.97점을 기록했습니다.

다만 탈의나 샤워시설 이용 면에서는
전년보다 낮아
앞으로 시설의 보수보강이 필요한 것으로 지적됐습니다.
