Only 1 case led to disciplinary action

Numerous unfair hiring practices in local public enterprises were recently uncovered with charges not being filed in most cases.

The Ministry of Interior and Safety conducted a nationwide investigation for hiring process at local public enterprises from last November through this January and found 57 cases in Jeju.

37 cases were given warnings while 19 were required to improve the hiring system.

Only one case was put under disciplinary action, but no particular action has been taken yet.

제주지역 공공기관에서 채용비리 사례가 대거 적발됐지만
미미한 처벌에 그친 것으로 나타났습니다.

행정안전부가
지난해 11월부터 올해 1월까지
지방공공기관에 대해 채용비리를 전수 조사한 결과
제주에서는 57건의 부적정 사례가 적발됐습니다.

이 가운데 주의나 경고가 37건으로 가장 많았고
19건은 제도개선 등의 조치가 요구됐습니다.

징계 처분으로 이어진 것은 1건에 그쳤으며
이마저도 지금까지 처분되지 않은 것으로 드러났습니다.
