Offender to go on trial for two murder charges

Koh Yu-jeong, a 36-year-old woman currently on trial for the murder of her ex-husband, is facing indictment for killing her step-son.

The local prosecutor's office has taken over Koh’s step-son’s murder case from the Cheongju District Prosecutors' Office and has set up a team to investigate the case.

The local prosecution will indict Koh in early November based on the investigation results of the Cheongju Sangdang Police Station and the Cheongju District Prosecutors' Office.

Hence, Koh is expected to go on trial for two murder charges of her ex-husband and her step-son.

검찰, 고유정 의붓아들 사망사건 내달 초 기소

전 남편을 살해한 혐의로 재판을 받고 있는 고유정이
의붓아들 살해 혐의로 추가 기소될 전망입니다.

제주지방검찰청은
지난 21일 청주지검으로부터
고유정 의붓아들 사망사건을 넘겨 받고
전담팀을 꾸려 수사하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.

이와함께 청주 상당경찰서와 청주지검 수사 결과를 토대로
11월 초 기소할 예정입니다.

이에 따라 고유정의 전 남편 살해사건과 의붓아들 사망사건은
병합돼 재판이 진행될 것으로 보입니다.
