5. Local housing occupancy rate on a downturn
Jeju ranks 4th lowest HOSI nationwide in this month

The occupancy rate of local housing has moved downward.

According to the Housing Occupancy Survey Index (HOSI) released by Korea Housing Institute, the occupancy rate of local housing last month recorded 62 percent.
This is a 11 percent drop from August, when the rate surpassed 70 percent for the first time in 14 months.

Meanwhile, the Housing Occupancy Survey Index in Jeju recorded 60 in this month ranking the 4th lowest figure in the nation, following Gangwon-do Province, Chungcheongbuk-do Province and Chungcheongnam-do Province.

제주 주택 입주율 60%대 다시 하락

회복세를 보이던 제주지역 주택 입주율이 다시 하락했습니다.

주택산업연구원이 발표한 입주경기실사지수에 따르면
지난달 제주지역 주택 입주율은 62%로
전달보다 11%p 하락했습니다.

지난 8월에는 14개월만에 70% 선을 넘겼지만,
지난달 다시 60%대로 떨어지며 하락세를 보인 겁니다.

한편, 이달 제주지역 입주경기지수 전망치는 60으로
강원과 충북, 충남에 이어 전국에서 4번째로 낮았습니다.
