1. JDC donates \5B to local farming and fishing villages
Funds used to support the primary sector

The Jeju Free International City Development Center has donated 5 billion won to local farming and fishing villages.

JDC explained that it boosted its regular annual donation of 1 billion won to 5 billion won due to severe typhoon damages this year.

The funds will be used to strengthen the competitiveness of the primary sector and to provide low-interest loans for farmers and fishermen.

JDC's donations to local farming and fishing villages amounts to 6 billion won from 2010 to last year .

JDC, 제주도에 농어촌기금 50억 출연

제주국제자유도시개발센터가
제주도에 농어촌기금으로 50억원을 출연했다고 밝혔습니다.

JDC는 해마다 10억원을 농어촌기금으로 출연해 왔지만
올해 태풍 피해가 극심함에 따라 50억원으로 확대했다고
설명했습니다.

농어촌기금은 1차산업 경쟁력 강화와
농어민 저금리융자 지원 등에 사용됩니다.

JDC가 지난 2010년부터 지난해까지 출연한
지역농어촌기금은 60억원에 이릅니다.
