Islanders’ eyes on whether NA passes long adrift revision bill

Attention is growing as to whether the National Assembly will pass the revision bill of the April 3rd Special Act.

The subcommittee of the National Assembly's Public Administration and Security Committee has recently set up a plan to discuss the revision of the April 3rd Special Act based on an agreement between ruling and opposition party officials.

A meeting was held on the 14th, but the revision bill was not addressed due to delays in handling other bills included in the review.

The subcommittee's meeting is scheduled for three days from the 19th to the 21st, but officials expect the revision bill to be reviewed on the 26th after reviewing budget related bills.

Surviving victims and bereaved families of the April 3rd Incident held a rally yesterday and strongly demanded the National Assembly to pass the revised April 3rd Special Act.

최근 여야 간사 합의에 따라
4.3 특별법 개정안의 논의 방침을 세웠습니다.

14일 회의가 열렸지만
당초 심사대상에 포함된 법안들의 처리가 지연되면서
4.3 특별법은 다뤄지지 못했습니다.

법안심사소위원회의 다음 일정이
오는 19일부터 21일까지 사흘간 예정돼 있지만
예산 관련 법안을 심사해야 하기 때문에 사실상 어렵고
오는 26일이 분수령이 될 전망입니다.

제주 4.3 유족회는 오는 17일 집회를 열고
4.3 특별법의 국회 처리를 강력히 요구할 예정입니다. (내용확인)
