5. Criterion of facilities for disabled to be stricter in hotel rating system
Province to implement revised rating system from January 1st, 2020

Local hotels are now required to meet a higher standard for facilities for the disabled to get higher ratings.

The province notified its plan to revise the local hotel rating system on Friday. A criterion for facilities for the disabled will be added for one and two star hotels. The criterion will be stricter for hotels to be rated above 2-stars.

The provincial government will post the revision bill on its website and receive opinions from local residents. It is planning to implement the new hotel rating system from January 1st of next year.

3~5성급은 장애인 시설 배점 기준이 강화됩니다.

제주도는

의견 수렴 절차를 거친 뒤
내년 1월1일부터 시행할 계획입니다.
