1. POE to introduce Korean IB program in Pyoseon High School
IBO to finalize certification next March

The Provincial Office of Education will introduce the Korean IB program at Pyoseon High School in Seogwipo City.

Officials said that only Pyoseon High School applied to become a Korean IB school among regular high schools in eup and myeon administrative districts in the island.

Thus, Pyoseon High School has been selected as a candidate school to implement the IB program in Korean.

Pyoseon High School will operate the program from 2022, after the International Baccalaureate Organization certifies the school next March.

도교육청, IB 학교 '표선고등학교' 선정

서귀포시 표선고등학교가
한국어 IB를 도입하는 학교에 선정됐습니다.

제주도교육청은
도내 읍면지역 일반고를 대상으로 한
한국어 IB학교 공모에
표선고등학교가 유일하게 신청서를 제출했다고 밝혔습니다.

이에 따라 심사를 거쳐 표선고를
제주형 자율학교로 지정해
IB 후보 학교로 선정했다고 덧붙였습니다.

표선고는 내년 3월 IB 사무국으로부터 최종 인증을 받으면
현재 중학교 2학년이
고등학교 2학년이 되는 오는 2천22년부터
IB 교육 프로그램을 운영합니다.
