3. Land Ministry strengthens real estate transaction regulations
Officials to fine up to \30M for illegal property deals

Seoul will strengthen crackdown and penalties on illegalities such as false reporting of real estate transactions starting next year.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said it will revise enactment ordinances on reporting real estate transactions by December 30th as the related law was recently revised.

Cross trading and false reporting of real estate transactions will be fined up to 30 million won, and late reporting of contract cancellation will be fined up to 3 million won.

In addition, the revised ordinance stipulates that related government agencies can request information on property registration, family relations, income and etc to effectively investigate for illegal property transactions.

시장교란 행위에 대한 단속과 처벌이 강화됩니다.

국토교통부는
이같은 내용을 담은
부동산 거래신고 등에 관한 법률이 최근 개정됨에 따라
관련 시행령과
시행규칙 개정안을
12월 30일까지 입법예고 한다고 밝혔습니다.

특히 부동산 자전거래와 허위신고는 최대 3천만원,
계약 취소에 따른
해제신고를 늦게 할 경우 최대 300만원의 과태료를 부과하게 됩니다.

또 실거래 불법행위 조사의 실효성을 높이기 위해
관계기관이
등기와 가족관계, 소득 등의 자료를 요청할 수 있도록 명문화했습니다.
