3. Province releases names of 24 large sum delinquent taxpayers
Local officials to search offenders’ houses for luxury goods

The provincial government publicly released the names of 24 large sum delinquent taxpayers on its website.

The list includes the names of 20 people and 4 companies that have failed to pay over 10 million won for over a year.

Provincial council’s committee on local tax review hand picked the list out of a pool of 490 habitual delinquent taxpayers.

Local officials will also search the offenders’ houses for luxury goods and investigate for other offenses to collect delinquent taxes.

1천만원 이상 고액 체납자 24명 명단 공개

제주특별자치도가
지방세와 세외수입 고액 또는
상습체납자 24명의 명단을
제주도청 홈페이지와 게시판을 통해 공개했습니다.

이번에 공개된 명단은
1년 이상 체납하고 액수가 1천만원 이상인 490명 가운데
도세심의위원회 심의를 거쳐 결정됐습니다.

제주도는
이들에 대해 명단 공개 뿐 아니라
가택수색과 범칙행위 조사 등
징수활동을 병행한다는 방침입니다.
