Democratic Party of Korea to call for quick passage of revision bill

The National Assembly’s review of the revised April 3rd Special Act is being delayed.

According to Lamaker Kang Chang-il's office, the revision bill of the April 3rd Special Act has been on the review agenda of the Bill Examination Subcommittee of the National Assembly’s Public Administration and Security Committee since the 14th. However, the bill remains pending review as the subcommittee has been prioritizing other items on the agenda.

The Democratic Party of Korea will hold a meeting tomorrow to call for the passage of the revision bill of the April 3rd Special Act, but the Liberty Korea Party is opposing the event.

Whether the National Assembly passes the April 3rd Special Act within this year entirely depends on whether the subcommittee passes the bill within this week.

자유한국당에서 소위 개최 자체를
반대하는 것으로 알려지고 있습니다.

4·3 특별법의 올해 중 처리 여부는
금주중 행안위 법안심사소위원회 통과를 필요로 하고 있습니다.
