3. Jeju City launches Dodu Sewage Treatment Plant modernization project
Construction to begin from September 2021

Jeju City has officially launched the project to modernize the Dodu Sewage Treatment Plant in Dodu-dong, Jeju City.

The provincial government recently announced a bid to recruit services to conduct research and devise the basic plan of the project.

The research to devise the basic plan is the first official procedure of the modernization project. The basic plan will include an analysis of rudimentary data, ways to implement eco-friendly and new technologies and construct marine discharge pipes and a future operation management plan by next August.

A total of 380 billion won is being invested to modernize the Dodu Sewage Treatment Plant by December 2025. Officials plan to increase the plant’s capacity from the current 130,000 tons to 220,000 tons and process all sewage underground. The construction will begin from September 2021.

향후 운영관리방안을 담게 됩니다.

제주공공하수처리시설 현대화사업은
오는 2025년 12월까지 사업비 3천 800억원을 투입해
하루 처리물량을
현재 13만톤에서 22만톤으로 증설하면서
하수처리공정을 완전 지하화로 추진하고 있습니다.

착공은 오는 2021년 9월로 잡고 있습니다.
