2. Province to buy ICC shares from individual stockholders
Individual investors own 3.6% of ICC

The provincial government will start buying shares from individual stockholders of the International Convention Center Jeju from next year.

The provincial council’s Culture, Tourism and Sports Committee passed the motion to set funds for the province to purchase the shares at its budget review session yesterday.

Thus, the province will purchase some 68 billion won worth of shares of ICC Jeju from next year through 2022.

Currently, some 38 million individual shareholders are in possession of 136 million shares, which is 3.6 percent of ICC’s total number of shares.

국제컨벤션센터 개인주주 매입 출자동의안을
원안 가결했습니다.

이에 따라 제주도는
내년부터 2022년까지 3년 동안 68억여 원을 투입해
개인주식을 매입하게 됩니다.

현재 개인주주 3천 8백여명 갖고 있는
주식은 모두 136만여 주로
전체 3.6%의 지분을 갖고 있습니다.
