5. Pork related organizations to offer free meals through December
Seniors in rural areas can taste delicious Jeju pork meals

The Jeju office of Korea Pork Producers Association and the Jeju Hog-raising Nonghyup’s free meal event for senior citizens in rural areas is drawing attention.

The organizations had a meaningful time yesterday at Josu-ri, Han-gyeong-myeon, Jeju City by inviting over 200 elderly villagers to eat dishes made with locally grown pork.

They will continue to hold free meal events for seniors at rural villages near local pig farms in Hallim-eup through the end of this year.

제주시 한경면 조수리 마을회관에서
마을 어르신 2백여 명을 초청해
제주산 돼지고기로 만든 음식을 나눠 먹으며 뜻깊은 시간을 보냈습니다.

대한한돈협회와 양돈농협은 연말까지
명월과 금능, 상대 등
양돈농가가 밀집된
지역 어르신들을 대상으로
급식 나눔 행사를 이어나갈 계획입니다 .
