5. 11 specialized high school graduates become public servants
More high school graduates to work in government officials by 2022

This year, 11 students from specialized high schools in Jeju passed the civil service examination to become local public officials.

Eight were accepted into the provincial government and three into the Provincial Office of Education. The number of acceptances this year was more than double that of last year.

In particular, the number of acceptances of high school graduates is expected to increase as Seoul decided to expand the hiring rate of high school graduates through national and local civil service examinations up to 30 percent by 2022.

올해 제주지역 지방직 공무원 임용시험에
도내 특성화고등학교 출신 학생 11명이 합격했습니다.

기관별로는 제주특별자치도청 8명,
제주도교육청 3명으로
지난해 합격생 5명보다 갑절 이상 늘었습니다.

특히 정부가 오는 2022년까지
국가직과 지방직 공무원 임용시험에
고졸 채용을
최대 30%까지 확대하기로 하면서
특성화고 출신자들의 공무원 채용은 더욱 확대될 전망입니다.
