5. Seoul eases qualification criteria for basic living subsidies
Government increases income and asset threshold

Seoul decided to ease the criteria for individuals and families to qualify for basic living subsidies from next year.

The maximum monthly income for a family of four to qualify next year is 4.74 million won, which is 135,000 won higher than that of this year.

Officials also increased the amount of assets beneficiaries can possess by 8 million won to 42 million won.

In addition, the ceiling for residential property value has been raised to 90 million won from 68 million won.

4인 가족을 기준으로
월 소득기준이 474만원으로
올해보다 13만 5천원 인상됩니다.

또 생계급여 수급자 선정에 적용되는 기본재산 공제액이
기존 3천 400만원에서
800만원 증가한 4천 200만원으로 조정됩니다.

이와 함께 주거용 재산 인정 한도액이
6천 800만원에서
32% 인상된 9천만원으로 확대됩니다.
