5. KCTV Multicultural Award Ceremony held Dec. 6
Grand prize winner recognized for his contributions to immigrant community

KCTV Jeju Broadcasting Company held the KCTV Multicultural Award ceremony at its Auditorium last Friday.

The Grand prize was given to Marites Gamboa Gadi from the Philippines.

His was awarded the Grand prize for his services to the local Filipino community as the representative of the Filipino workers and married immigrants group and as a volunteer and committee member of the Jeju Immigration Office and the Jeju Office of the Korea Support Center for Foreign Workers.

In addition, Hong Su-eon was given the first prize in the essay sector. Shin Yu-hui from Gwiil Middle School, Lee Chang-woo from Hagwiil Elementary School and Oh Chang-ok were each given a merit award.

6일 오전 KCTV 제주방송 공개홀에서 열렸습니다.

다문화 대상은
필리핀의 마리테스 갬보아 가디씨가 수상의 영예를 안았습니다.

마리테스 갬보아 가디씨는
결혼이민자와 이주노동자 모임의 필리핀 대표를 맡아
제주정착에 도움을 주고 있으며
제주출입국외국인청과 외국인근로자상담센터에서
봉사위원과 운영위원으로 활동한 공로를 인정받았습니다.

또 미래꿈나무상에는
귀일중의 신유휘군과 하귀일초등학교의 이창우군,
공로상에는 오창옥씨가 수상했습니다.

이와 함께 생활수기 공모전에는
홍수언씨가 최우수상을 받았습니다.
