2. Province revives special consumption tax cut for golf courses
75% tax reduction to carry on for 2 years

The provincial government will cut 75 percent of consumption tax on membership-based golf courses for 2 years, starting next year.

According to Lawmaker Kang Chang-il, the National Assembly has passed the revision bill of the Restriction of Special Taxation Act which was proposed to reduce individual consumption tax on golf courses in Jeju.

Thus, membership-based golf courses in Jeju will exclusively benefit from individual consumption tax cuts of 75 percent for two years from next year.

The tax cut is being revived in two years after it was terminated after the Sunset law was implemented in 2017.

조세제한특례법 개정안을 의결했습니다.

이에 따라 제주지역 골프장에 한해
내년부터 2년간 한시적으로
개별소비세를 75% 감면해주게 됩니다.

제주지역 골프장에 대한 개별소비세 감면은
지난 2017년부터 2년간
한시적으로 시행되다 중단됐고
이번에 2년만에 부활되는 것입니다.
