3. 5 local fishing ports selected for ‘fishing village new deal 300 project’
Seoul to fund \53.6B to modernize each ports


Five fishing ports in Jeju have been selected to be modernized under Seoul’s ‘fishing village new deal 300 project’.

The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries selected five sites in Jeju for the project including (고내)Gonae port, (세화)Sehwa port, (하우목동)Haumokdong port.

The selected fishing ports will receive 53.6 billion won over the next three years to improve their surrounding landscape and develop marine tourism contents.

Meanwhile, construction of basic fishing port facilities will begin next year at three locations including Biyangdo Island and Hamdeok Port, which were selected for the project this year.

제주 5개 어항 '어촌뉴딜' 사업 대상 선정

제주지역 5개 어항이
정부의 현대화 사업 대상지로 선정됐습니다.

해양수산부는 내년도 어촌뉴딜 사업 대상으로
고내항과 세화항,
하우목동항권역 등
5곳을 선정했다고 밝혔습니다.

선정된 어항에는
내년부터 3년 동안 총 사업비 536억 원이 지원돼
어촌경관 개선사업과
해양관광 콘텐츠를 개발하게 됩니다.

올해에는
비양도와 함덕항 등 3곳이 선정돼
내년부터 어항기본시설 공사 등이 추진됩니다.
