Streams found with ‘zero’ toxicity

Water quality of local streams were found to be in good condition.

All 12 major local streams surveyed by the Jeju Public Health and Environment Research institute scored top marks in 6 categories, including biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and suspended solid.

Water toxicity test using water flea proved all streams to have zero toxic units.
