1. By-elections to be held next year in 3 districts in Seogwipo
Candidate registration to start from Jan. 3

By-elections will be held at three districts in Seogwipo City next year at the same time as the general elections.

According to the Seogwipo City Election Commission, three districts in Seogwipo City, including Daejeong-eup, Donghong-dong and a district comprised of Daecheon-dong, Jungmun-dong and Yerae dong, will hold by-elections next year to elect provincial councilors that will represent their districts.

The by-elections will be held to replace the districts’ former provincial councilors Heo Chang-uk and Yun Chun-gwang, who passed away, and Lim Sang-pil, who was dismissed for violating the election law.

Preliminary registrations for the three districts will start from January 3rd.

내년 총선과 함께 보궐선거가 실시됩니다.

서귀포시선거관리위원회에 따르면
내년 4월 15일 제21대 국회의원 선거와 함께
대정읍을 비롯해 동홍동과 대천.중문.예래동 3개 선거구에서
도의원 보궐선거가 실시됩니다.

허창욱 의원과 윤춘광 의원이 별세했고
임상필 의원이
선거법 위반 혐의로 당선 무효된 데 따른 것입니다.

이들 선거구의 예비후보 등록은
다음달 3일부터 진행됩니다.
