4. 33 local high school students accepted to Seoul National University
All students admitted through early decision

33 high school students from 15 local high schools were admitted into Seoul National University through early decision for the 2020 school year. This is the largest number of admittances into SNU from local high schools in history.

By school, Jeju Jeil High School, Sinseong Girls' High School, Namnyeong High School, and Ohyun High School topped the number of acceptances with four students each, followed by Seogwipo High School with three students. Hallim High School, Jeju Girl’s High School, Jeju National University High School and Daegi High School each had 2 students accepted to Seoul National University.

It was the first time for Hallim High School and Aewol High School, which are located in the rural parts of the island, to have students admitted to SNU.

2020학년도 서울대학교 수시 모집에서
제주지역 고등학생 33명이 합격해
역대 가장 많은 합격자를 배출했습니다.

제주도교육청에 따르면,
도내 15개 고교에서
서울대 수시 모집에 33명이 합격한 것으로 집계됐습니다.

학교별로는 제주제일고와 신성여고, 남녕고, 오현고가
각각 4명으로 가장 많았고
이어 서귀포고 3명,
한림고, 제주여고, 사대부고, 대기고가 2명 순이었습니다.

특히 읍면지역 학교인
한림고와 애월고에서도 개교 이래 처음으로
서울대 합격자가 나왔습니다.
