3. Province to eradicate power tripping in public organizations
Officials to provide protection for victims

The province will devise measures to eradicate power tripping in public organizations and support victims.

The provincial government announced its plans to devise regulations against power tripping and will receive opinions through next Monday.

The new policy bans people from demanding their subordinates to work beyond their job scope or making their working environment difficult.

If a person is found power tripping, the province will take disciplinary actions against the offender and protect the victim from the offender’s influence.

제주도는
갑질 행위 근절과 피해자 지원에 대한 규정안을 행정예고하고
오는 23일까지 의견을 받고 있습니다.

이번 규정안은
공직 내부의 우월적 지위로 영향력을 행사해
업무상 적정 범위를 넘는 부당한 처우를 요구하거나
근무환경을 악화시키는 행위를 금지했습니다.

갑질 행위가 발생하면 사안에 따라 징계 조치하도록 하고
피해자에 대해서는
갑질 행위자와 분리하거나
보직 변경 등을 통해 보호하도록 했습니다.
