Police to check for facts regarding complaint filed by Park

The Jeju Seobu Police Station is investigating Governor Won Hee-ryong after former JCC chairman Park Young-jo filed a complaint to the local prosecutor’s office against Won for authority abuse on December 9th.

Park argued that the governor pushed JCC into a management crisis by unrightfully delaying the project. He said that the governor's establishment of the capital verification committee and requirement of a 330 billion won deposit lack legal merit.

The police station says that it will check for facts regarding the complaint.

제주서부경찰서는
박영조 JCC 전 회장이 원희룡 제주특별자치도지사를
직권남용 혐의로 검찰에 고발한 것과 관련해
수사하고 있다고 밝혔습니다.

박 전 회장은 지난 9일
원 지사가 법령이나 조례에 근거하지 않은 자본검증위원회를 설치해
3천 3백여 억원의 예치금을 요구하는 등
직권을 남용했다며 원지사를 검찰에 고발했습니다.

경찰은 고발장 등을 살펴 사실여부부터 확인할 예정입니다.
