This week on Jeju: A to Z, Todd Thacker gives us a brief look at a unique Jeju museum that, as we'll see now, is perfect for a Christmas season visit.
It’s the festive season here on Jeju Island. Given that Christmas Day is just around the corner, we thought we’d share with you details of a very special museum dedicated to the holiday.
The Jeju Christmas Museum in Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo, is a place where you and your loved ones can have a very special ? indeed one of a kind ? Christmas experience.

Over the last few years, this family-run operation has carefully curated a massive selection of Christmas related artifacts for you to explore.
[Slug CG] Christmas market opens at 4PM daily
For this holiday season, they have set up a fun Christmas Market, which opens from 4 p.m. all this week and next. Naturally, this is a perfect place to get into the spirit of the season and maybe do some of your Christmas shopping, too. It opens at 10 a.m. on the 24th and 25th.

If you’re feeling a bit chilled after perusing the market, you can warm up with a coffee or tea and try their homemade Christmas-themed cookies and meringues.
[Slug CG] Christmas parade on Dec. 24 and Dec. 25 at 8PM
Another special event you may want to try is their Christmas Parade at 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day. Visitors are encouraged to participate in any way they’d like. Sing Christmas carols, dance, or just be a spectator... anything goes!
So, join in and catch the Christmas spirit, Jeju-style. Happy holidays!
