3. Jeju Air to temporarily suspend Jeju-Fukuoka route
Anti-Japanese sentiment continues to affect airlines companies

Jeju Air will temporarily suspend its flight between Jeju and Fukuoka during January and February.

The route was launched this July and has been operating for five months.

The anti-Japanese sentiment in Korea has led to low seat occupancy of the route and an intolerable deficit for the airline.

제주항공은 지난 7월부터
4년 여 만에 후쿠오카 노선을 재개했지만
탑승률이 줄면서
운행할 때마다 수백만 원 적자가 발생하는 것으로 알려졌습니다.
