5. Province asks Seoul for official land prices increase rate under 5%
Official land prices in Jeju rose 87% over the past 5 years

Local officials visited both the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the headquarters of the Korea Appraisal Board to ask Seoul to implement low increase rates for local official land prices under 5 percent next year.

This is due to the reduced social welfare benefits and increase in tax burden for islanders as the local official land prices recently recorded the highest increase rate in the country.

The official land prices in increased by 27.77% in 2016, 19% in 2017, 17.51% in 2018 and 10.70% this year, amounting to a total increase of 87% over the past five years.

내년 표준지 공시지가의 상승률을
5% 이하로 낮춰줄 것을 건의했습니다.

최근 제주지역 공시지가가 전국 최고의 상승률을 기록하면서
사회복지 혜택감소와
조세부담 가중 등
부작용이 발생하고 있는데에 따른 조치입니다.

제주지역 개별공시지가의 최근 상승률을 보면
2016년 27.77%, 2017년 19%,
2018년 17.51%, 올해 10.70%로
지난 5년동안 87%를 기록하고 있습니다.
