This year’s temperatures in December higher than typical year

The Jeju Regional Meteorological Administration forecasts that islanders will not see snow within this month.

Researchers said this year’s temperatures in December is relatively higher than that of a typical year. Thus, the institute expects no snowfall within this month.

This is the first time in 61 years since 1958.

The weather center expects snowfall from mid-January as the cold winter air moves southward from the north.

올해는 첫눈을 보기 어려울 것이란 기상청의 분석이 나왔습니다.

기상청은 북쪽에서 찬 공기가 남하는 1월 중순부터
기온이 떨어지고 눈이 내리는 날이 늘 것으로 예측했습니다.
