Agreement to co-host conversations, debates with candidates

Four media outlets in the province, including KCTV, have agreed to jointly report on next year’s general elections that will be held on April 15th.

KCTV, Jeju Ilbo, Jeju Today and Headline Jeju held signed an agreement to jointly report about next year’s general elections at KCTV’s conference room on Thursday.

The four media outlets will organize agendas for the general elections, and jointly host conversations and debates with and hold public opinion polls.

In particular, they agreed to work together to promote electoral integrity through fair reporting and provide details on the candidates' policies, philosophies and campaign pledges to the voters.

공동보도를 협약했습니다.

KCTV와 제주일보, 제주투데이, 헤드라인제주는
26일 KCTV 회의실에서 업무협약식을 열고
4.15 총선에서 공동보도 협약을 체결했습니다.

이들 언론사는 협약을 통해
4.15 총선과 관련한 아젠다 설정과 후보 초청대담,
토론회, 여론조사 등을 공동 주최, 주관하기로 했습니다.

특히 공정한 보도로 선진 선거문화가 정착되도록 하고,
후보자의 철학과 정책, 공약을 제공해
유권자 중심의 정책선거가 될 수 있도록 함께 노력하기로 했습니다.
