3. Events at Jeju City Hall to ring in the New Year
Flea market, laser show, musical performances scheduled

An event at Jeju City Hall to mark the start of the New Year will include the striking of a traditional drum at 12 a.m. on January 1st.

The festival will kick off at 6 p.m. on the 31st with a flea market, laser show and musical performances for festivalgoers.

Following a New Year’s Eve countdown, 33 people from all walks of life, including the mayor of Jeju City, Koh Hee-bum, will strike the drum to signify their wishes for an auspicious 2020.

새해 용고타고 행사 31일 열려

경자년 새해를 하루 앞둔
오는 31일, 제주시청에서
제야의 용고타고 행사가 열립니다.

오후 6시부터 시작되는
용고타고에는
플리마켓과 떡국나눔마당,
레이져쇼 같은
부대행사가 다채롭게 마련됩니다.

자정 무렵에는
새해 맞이 카운트다운을 시작으로
고희범 제주시장을 비롯해
각계각층의 시민대표 33명이
용고를 치면서 경자년 새해를 맞이하고
도민들의 무사안녕을 기원합니다.
