The Jeju Environmental Resource Recycling Center has undergone years of twists and turns prior to its launch this month.
Now, along with concerted efforts to reduce the amount of garbage produced here, Jeju officials will have to ensure the center is properly managed and avoid any short-sighted stopgap measures.
