3. Jeju City to expand surveillance camera installations
Officials to heighten regulations on illegally parked cars

Jeju City will install 22 surveillance cameras additionally to prevent illegal parking.

The cameras will be mostly installed at congested intersections, including areas near (외도)Oedo Elementary School and the residential development zone in Hagwi-ri, Jeju City.

The municipal office will complete installation within the first half of next year and pilot run the newly installed surveillance cameras for more than a month.

Meanwhile, a total of 135,000 parking violations were detected in Jeju City this year.

제주시가
불법 주정차 근절을 위해
무인 단속 CCTV 22대를
추가로 설치합니다.

CCTV 설치 구간은
외도초등학교와 8호광장 인근,
하귀택지개발지구 등
주요 혼잡구간입니다.

제주시는
내년 상반기에 공사를 완료하고
한달 이상 시범운영을 해나갈 예정입니다.

한편 올해 제주시에서는
모두 13만 5천여 건의
주정차 위반 행위가 적발됐습니다.
